Step 2- Grab hold of the disengagement cord and pull up and away from the door. You should see the clip snap into a horizontal position.

Step 1- Locate the (usually) red disengagement cord that hangs down from the “motor shuttle”. The image displayed is a generic shuttle, yours may look similar to it. You will notice the clip the rope is tied to is pointing down.
