ATA OLD SECTIONAL GARAGE OPENERS

Automatic Technology Australia, or ATA, has been around for over 25 years and has been producing some of the finest quality openers ever since. Their mantra of “Smart, Simple, Secure” definitely rings true as far as the user experience goes, but it probably doesn’t do them justice as far as the intelligence and overall durability of their product. A testament to that is the fact that we very rarely go a week without a customer calling up with a 15-20-year-old ATA system that is only now just starting to have issues. We think that just about sums up the quality of their motors.

ATA GDO-2

The GDO-2 SecuraLift was one of the first motors ATA brought out and it helped pave the way for further development into more advanced technology such as the Intelligent Safety System, automatic limiting systems, and tri-code technology. Despite its age, this garage door opener would still make a great addition to anyone’s garage.

ATA GDO-7 SecuraLift Old Sectional Door Openers

The GDO-7 Securalift II was a large developmental leap from the classic GDO-2 SecuraLift range. This opener had a higher-rated maximum lift as well as less vibration. Along with this it also had full use of torque and a two-point spread system that reduced wear and tear on the opener and its parts. Just to top it off it also had a much sleeker and refined look to become one of the most aesthetically pleasing openers of its time.
